Before the week of our Curriculum Convention, we gather our plans together with the Grade 9 St. John Bosco. So our plan is all about a comedy theater play but our other teachers does not agree about the comedy theater play. Later on, we think that our theater play will be better if it is related to our real life, so we chose a theater play that is all about family. After writing those scripts for the play, we practice on how to act our role and memorize our scripts. The play entitled “Tahanan Tahan Na” was written by Paul Brandon Cabiladas and Krysha Niña Villacarlos. I am one of the character and I was the lovingly mother, Sisa, who blame her self because the death of her son Junjun. So I practice a lot for me to memorize my scripts.

Febuary 28, 2019 is the first day of the Curriculum Convention. Other grade levels are getting ready for their other task. It was also the day of our presentation. All of us are getting ready for our theater play, we change clothes, others are putting make up, the technicians are doing those set up for our background music, Kimberly Festin, Shearl Manaloto and June Fernandez are also doing a documentation and interviewing all casts including me. So during the theater play, I admitted that I was getting nervous, a lot but I enjoyed the play because it was my first time to get a big role on a play. We presented our theater play 2 times, one in the morning, 9:00 am to 10:00 am and 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. I did my best on acting and I saw other audience are crying because of the play. Our play is really a touching story and it can make you realize that we should love our family because we cannot guess that when will God get our life. After the theater play I was very happy because of I was given a chance to act on the stage, to act like a mother, to feel like a mother and to the I hope that soon, I could have a big role again. It improves my self esteem and it was also part of my best memories.

March 1, 2019 was the second day of our Curriculum Convention I admitted that it was a little bit boring. Other grade levels still, continue their jobs like selling foods. The Grade 7 St. Anthony Zacharias and Grade 7 St. John Vianney are presenting a “Ibong Adarna” theater play while the Cultural and Arts club are presenting “7 Deadly Sins” theater play. The “7 Deadly Sins” has a comedy but it can relate to our whole life.
Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it’s at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.
